Meet Hutson Floral

We are an intentionally small studio. By taking on a limited number of events each year, we’re able to give every celebration our full attention and create florals that feel truly personal. When you work with us, you work directly with the team behind the design.

Our work takes us wherever beautiful celebrations unfold. From the mountains of Colorado—Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Steamboat, Boulder, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Estes Park, and beyond—to destinations across the country. We’ve designed events throughout California, Texas, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nashville, Hawaii and Wyoming, and we’re always ready to travel for something extraordinary.

Designer & Owner

Chuck Hutson

I started in the floral world back in 2007 at a flower shop on the north side of Chicago. I was just helping out on weekends, but I fell in love with it. Over the years I honed my craft in some incredible places: Chicago, Hawaii, Aspen, San Diego, Scottsdale, Nashville and eventually Denver. In 2016, I decided to turn my passion into a business, and Hutson Floral Design was born. I'm inspired by nature's elegance and I love designing with bold color, unexpected texture, and organic movement. Whether it's a mountain ceremony or a downtown reception, my goal is always the same: make people stop and stare.

Sales & Marketing

Abraham Hutson

I wasn't always a flower person. I came from a background in International Business and Finance, which doesn't sound like it has much to do with florals until you're suddenly running a floral design business with your husband. I bring the strategic and creative side to our events: sales, event marketing, client experience, and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. Chuck makes it beautiful. I make sure it happens.
